A compound bow fitted and built around your draw, your shot, your goals. Consultation, fitting, components, and full tuning by a USA Archery Level 3 coach. Elite Archery authorized dealer. All brands.
Most archers walk into a shop and buy what is on the wall. A bow that does not fit costs you accuracy, comfort, and money. We build the other way.
Wrong draw length stresses your elbow, shoulder, and neck with every shot. Proper fitting eliminates the tension points that cause overuse injuries before they start.
A bow tuned to your draw, your anchor, and your release fires cleaner and more consistently. Better fit means tighter groups, not because of more practice, but because the equipment is doing its job.
Buying the wrong bow, then replacing components, fighting inconsistency, and eventually replacing it costs far more than getting it right the first time.
Most shops sell what they stock. We start with you and select every piece around your body, your shot, and your goals.
Every build follows this process. We start with who you are and build everything from there.
What do you shoot for? Hunt, compete, recreational? Experience level, physical limitations, budget. Your answers determine everything that follows.
Measured by watching how you draw, anchor, and execute, not by a wingspan formula. Draw weight assessed for where you are now and where you can progress.
Based on your fitting, goals, and budget. Authorized Elite dealer with access to their full lineup. All other brands available. Our recommendation is what is right for you.
Rest, sight, stabilizer, release, quiver, peep, d-loop. Every piece chosen to work as a system around your specific bow and shot process.
Spine, length, point weight, total weight matched to your bow and distance. Cut, inserted, fletched, and nocked. $6 standard or $8 tournament-grade per arrow.
Cam timing, center shot, peep, d-loop, bare-shaft and paper tune. The bow leaves verified on the range, not just assembled.
A complete build covers every component of your setup, selected and tuned to work as a single system.

Archery Sarasota is an authorized dealer for Elite Archery, the bow company built around shootability — the draw-cycle feel, the hold, and the way the shot breaks. Elite markets its lineup as “The World’s Most Shootable Bows,” and that focus on feel is what makes them tunable in our hands.
If Elite is the right bow for you, we can order any model in the current lineup — including the Varos flagship, Emerse, Exalt LD, Exalt35, and the Victra competition model. If another brand is a better fit, we will tell you that too.

The build service is one rate, billed by the hour. Bow and components are separate and depend entirely on what is right for your goals.
Covers consultation, fitting, component selection, setup, and full tuning. A typical build takes 2 or more hours depending on how involved the fitting and component selection are.
Standard builds at $6 per arrow, tournament-grade at $8. You can bring your own shafts and components — we do not require you to purchase arrows from us.
All archers benefit from a properly fitted setup. Here is who we work with most.
Buying your first bow is the most important purchase in archery. Get it right from day one with a proper consultation and fitting. Prevents bad habits and unnecessary upgrades down the road.
A hunting setup needs to perform under real conditions. We build hunting rigs tuned for the distances you shoot, the broadheads you hunt with, and the terrain you hunt in.
Competition demands precise, consistent setups matched to your shot process. Every component matters when scores are counted to the X.
Real answers to what people ask before booking a build.
A custom bow build is a complete bow setup built specifically around you — your draw length, draw weight, shooting style, goals, and budget. It includes a consultation, full fitting, bow selection, component selection, and complete setup and tuning. Think of it like a tailored suit rather than buying off the rack.
The build service is $100 per hour. A typical build takes 2 or more hours. The cost of the bow and components is separate and varies by what is right for your situation.
Yes. Archery Sarasota is an authorized Elite Archery dealer. We also work with all other compound bow brands. Our recommendation is always based on what is best for you, not what we have in stock.
No. We prefer that you get the right setup regardless of where you buy it. If you find a bow we recommend elsewhere at a better price, that is fine. Our business is built on service, not sales. We would rather give you an honest recommendation than push a product that is not right for you.
A full build includes consultation, draw length and draw weight fitting, bow selection and recommendation, component selection (arrow rest, sight, stabilizer, release aid, quiver, peep, d-loop), arrow selection and builds, and complete setup and tuning. Everything is built around you specifically.
A bow that does not fit causes inconsistency, reduces accuracy, and can lead to injury over time. Getting properly fitted means your draw length is correct, your draw weight is manageable, and every component is matched to how you shoot. A properly fitted bow is more accurate, more comfortable, and lasts longer.
All archers. Whether you are buying your first bow, upgrading your hunting rig, or building a competition setup, a proper consultation and fitting makes every setup perform better. It prevents bad habits early, prevents injury, and saves you money on unnecessary upgrades.
A typical build takes 2 or more hours of build time. Component lead times depend on what we are ordering. We confirm timeline at the start of the process so you know when your bow will be ready.
By appointment only. Your session is our complete focus, start to finish. Most consultations book within 7 days.
